I began painting in April of 2002.  With the advice of a good friend, when

I mentioned that I think I wanted to try painting, he said "What's stopping

you?, Go for it." So I went down to the art store and bought $16 worth of art

supplies. Since I didn't know anything about painting, I basically guessed on

what I thought I needed. Later I found out that I was right, and in fact I

bought some of the wrong supplies. Yet it was a good way to spark the

interest of this fabulous journey,
